#DesignMatters with Decorum

Anna has teamed up with design communications agency Decorum for their campaign #DesignMatters, which aims to highlight the importance of design. In her first video for the campaign, Anna discusses the role of design on keeping us grounded in an increasingly virtual world, and how it can be used to tackle problems that affect us all, like the efficiency of public transport and service like the NHS. 

Other supporters of the campaign include Wallpaper* editor-at-large Henrietta Thompson, Rue Kothari, director of Downtown Design Dubai, Tim Murray, director of Interior Design at LINLEY and Tarik Zaharna, founder of T.Zed Architects. You can watch all the videos on Decorum's Vimeo channel

Work in progress: Ordinary Uncanny – a toolkit for talking about smart cities

Debuted as part of the Embassy of Data during Dutch Design Week and created in collaboration with Lara Chapman, Ordinary Uncanny is a simple card game that encourages users to talk about how various expressions of smart city technology make them feel and why.
